Chicago 1st Cut Brisket
This classic brisket marinade made with KOL foods 100% grass fed, organic beef will have you thinking about it far after it's gone. So simple, yet so delicious!
- 1/4 cup Liquid Smoke
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons Sea salt
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons celery seed
- 3-4 lb KOL Foods 100% Grass-Fed 1st Cut Brisket
Combine all ingredients (except brisket) in a bowl, mix well.
Wash and dry brisket. Put the brisket in a large resealable plastic bag, add marinade. Squeeze out as much air as possible and let marinade for 8 hours or overnight.
Take brisket out of refrigerator and warm to room temperature (about 30-60 minutes). Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
Heat a large skillet on stove, add oil and sear all sides of brisket for about 1 minute. Be sure to shake all most of the marinade.
Put brisket in roasting pan, fatty side up and pour a little marinade over the top. Bake low and slow for as long as possible 8-12 hours.
