Regular FedEx Shipping
Through our FedEx shipping, we send your items in insulated coolers with plenty of dry ice, so your items will arrive frozen to your doorstep. We use eco-friendly coolers made from recycled materials, which can be easily recycled in your curbside recycling program.
Upcoming Shipping Holidays
Yom Kippur (Saturday, October 12th):
Yom Kippur will not impact our shipping schedule.
Sukkot, Shemini Atzeret, and Simchat Torah (October 17th-October 24th):
During the week of October 14th: No shipping will take place on Thursday, October 17th.
- Overnight and 1-day Ground shipments will be shipped on October 14th and 15th for delivery on the 15th and 16th.
- 2-day Ground and 2-Day Express shipments will be shipped on October 14th only, for delivery on October 16th.
During the week of October 21st:
- Overnight and 1-day Ground shipments will be shipped on October 21st and 22nd for delivery on the 22nd and 23rd.
- 2-day Ground and 2-Day Express shipments will be shipped on October 21st only, for delivery on October 23rd.
- Regular shipping will resume on Monday October 28th.
When We Ship
Shipping Schedule
We ship Monday through Thursday of each week. We do not ship out orders for arrival during the weekend, and we only ship orders out for delivery on Friday if you select the "Friday delivery is OK" checkout option. We only send out orders with 2-day shipping Monday-Wednesday each week.
When your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email. This email will include your FedEx tracking number so that you can watch its progress to your door and plan for its arrival. You do not need to be home exactly when your order arrives, but please plan on being able to unpack your shipment soon after arrival.
Order Deadline
Orders placed before noon Eastern on a shipping day will be sent out that same day whenever possible. Orders placed after noon Eastern will be shipped out the following shipping day. Please keep in mind that this can mean a shipping delay of several days, so plan accordingly. For example, if a 2-Day shipping (Ground or Express) order is placed after 12 noon Eastern on a Wednesday, it will not ship until the following Monday.
Please note: We do not guarantee ship dates nor can we be held liable for a delay in shipping an order. Factors that may delay the shipping of an order include, but are not limited to, weather, Federal or state holidays, religious holidays, a shortage of product or an unusually high volume of orders. Special shipping requests: If you have any special requests for FedEx or for our shipping department, you must make a note in the comments box during checkout. Additionally, we ask that you email us with any requests for our shipping department to confirm that it is on our radar. We will do our best to meet your requests where possible. Additionally, keep in mind that FedEx is an independent company that is out of our control. Specific delivery requests are ultimately up to the discretion of the FedEx driver at the time of delivery.
Regular FedEx Shipping Map
To Guarantee the quality of our products, we ship your KOL Foods meat to your home within two days from departure.
We only offer for shipments to be sent by FedEx Ground Service if your destination is within the 2-day delivery range from our warehouse, shown in the pink and blue areas on the above map.
At checkout, you will be able to see all of your shipping options at checkout. These are calculated depending on your exact address and the weight of your order.
We ship to any address within the 48 Continental United States where FedEx delivery is available, and to many destinations in Alaska and Hawaii.
We cannot ship to P.O. Box addresses.
We do not ship to Canada or to other international destinations.
Please make sure that the address you provide is correct. We cannot guarantee deliveries to incorrect addresses. We are not liable for unsuccessful address changes.

Our products are perishable and frozen, and require special handling. All orders are shipped in insulated containers, with dry ice to keep your KOL Foods meat at a safe temperature.
All orders are shipped signature release: We require that all our orders are shipped signature release, so no signature is required. If no one is home to receive the order from our carrier, the driver will leave the order at your door. This signifies acceptance of the order the same as a signature. Although we ship our orders to remain frozen for 2 full days after leaving our warehouse, we recommend that someone be there within the designated time frame to accept the order and properly refrigerate/freeze it.
If your order is a gift, please be sure to alert the recipient that something perishable will be delivered via FedEx.

Order Confirmation & Requests: It is important that you allow emails from KOL Foods (info@kolfoods.com). After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation email with your order number. Be sure to check your spam and promotions folders if you do not receive a message within a few minutes. If you cannot find the email, please contact us right away.
Please review your order confirmation thoroughly, including your shipping address. If you need to make any changes, email us immediately. We will do our best to make desired changes, however, it may not always be possible.
To add products to an existing order that has not yet shipped, place an additional order for those items and request in the comments box that it be combined with the previous order - be sure to include the order number of the original order. Please also contact us to confirm that this request was received. When possible, we will combine the packages and refund any excess shipping cost.

Shipping Rates, Surcharge and Insurance: To calculate your shipping rates, please populate your shopping cart with the items you would like to purchase. Then go to checkout and enter your address to see your shipping options.
"Shipping Cost" is what FedEx charges us to ship your items. We negotiate hard to get you the best rates, and we do not mark up the shipping cost, with one exception:
Small Order Shipping Surcharge: This surcharge is applied only to orders containing less than 15 lbs of KOL Foods products, and covers the cost of the dry ice and other packing materials.
The shipping surcharge is applied as follows:
0-4.99 lbs: $12
5-9.99 lbs: $8
10-14.99 lbs: $4
> 15 lbs: NO surcharge
Insurance:
We highly recommend that you add Route Protection to your order to protect your shipment completely against loss, theft, or damage. For a small fee, you can ensure that your order is eligible for a complete refund or replacement if any issues do occur. You can report issues to Route directly or contact us and we will take care of the claim on your behalf. Simply select the Route Protection box at checkout to protect your order!

KOLective FedEx Shipping
In areas where FedEx Ground service is not an option, we have created a cheaper shipping option that still offers shipping to your doorstep. If you live in the purple or green states on the map below, you can take advantage of the KOLective shipping method at select times a year.
How does it work? We ship all KOLective orders on a frozen truck to a central facility in your region. From there, your order will continue to your doorstep via FedEx Ground service. You get to enjoy delivery to your home. Your order stays frozen throughout. All this for shipping rates that rival those we offer on the East Coast!

The KOLective deadlines are not flexible, as all orders are immediately prepared and shipped together on a dedicated truck the following business day. Shipping Rates:
When the KOLective is open, place your order as you would normally, before the deadline, on the KOL Foods site, and select the West Coast or Central KOLective as your shipping method.
The shipping cost is indicated on your KOLective’s specific page. If you see a larger shipping cost than indicated, then it means your order is over 40 lbs and must ship in multiple boxes.
Insurance:
We HIGHLY recommend that you add Route Protection to your order to protect your KOLective shipment against loss, theft, or damage. Given the more complicated nature of the KOLective shipping method, these orders can be more prone to shipping delays. If you do not have Route Protection, your order will not be protected.
For a small fee, you can ensure that your order is eligible for a complete refund or replacement if any issues do occur. You can report issues to Route directly or contact us and we will take care of the claim on your behalf. Simply select the Route Protection box at checkout to protect your order!

+ Buying Club Pick Up - available at select times in Washington DC
Buying Club Pick Up
In select locations, KOL Foods offers minimized shipping rates through our Buying Clubs. Our buying clubs are available a few times a year, typically before a major holiday. In order to participate you must place your order before the deadline. Then, you must pick up your order from the designated location on a specific date and time.
Through this option you can take advantage of cheaper shipping but please note the trade-offs of less flexibility in the timing of your order’s arrival and the pickup requirement for your order. For those who prefer the flexibility of Home Delivery, please select any of the available FedEx options to your location instead.
We currently only offer one Buying Club, in the DC area. Please visit your location’s page for upcoming dates and specific details.
To use a Buying Club, add items to your cart as normal, and then choose your local club as your shipping method during checkout (if a club is active, it will be listed with all of the FedEx options). Then you and your clubmates will pick up the orders on a specified date at one central location.

Buying Club Specific Policies

Your order must be picked up during the pick-up time. No exceptions or refunds.

With this discounted shipping option, KOL Foods cannot guarantee delivery dates and times. In the event of a delay, KOL Foods will notify customers as soon as possible about updated pick-up times. KOL Foods is not responsible for shipping-related delays.

If you do not have flexibility regarding the pickup of your order, please order through our direct FedEx shipping options instead.

In order to receive your order on the above date, the club must have at least 10 participants. If the Club does not have enough participants, you will have the option of upgrading to regular FedEx shipping or canceling your order.

Shipping Communication: Once the Buying Club orders have shipped from our facility, we will send an email to all club participants to let you know the order is on the way. When the truck arrives with your order, we will send another email to let you know you may go and begin picking up. Please refrain from calling us to ask if the truck has arrived. As soon as the truck arrives, we will let you know immediately via email. You may receive an automated email that mentions tracking information for your order. Please disregard this email and instead reference the email sent directly from a KOL Foods customer service representative for information about your order pickup.
