It is important that you allow emails from KOL Foods (firstname.lastname@example.org). After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation email with your order number. Be sure to check your spam folder if you do not receive it within a few minutes. If it is not in your inbox or spam folder, something may have gone wrong with your order; please contact us.
Please review your order confirmation thoroughly, including your shipping address. If you need to make any changes, email us immediately. We will do our best to make desired changes, however, it may not always be possible.
To add products to an existing order that has not yet shipped, place an additional order for those items and request in the comments box that it be combined with the previous order - be sure to include the order number of the original order. We will, when possible, combine the packages and refund any excess shipping cost.
When your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email from KOL Foods. This email will include your FedEx tracking number so that you can watch its progress to your door.

Please make sure that the address you provide is correct. We cannot guarantee deliveries to incorrect addresses.

To Guarantee the quality of our products, we ship your KOL Foods meat to your home within two days from departure.
We only offer for shipments to be sent by FedEx Ground Service if your destination is within the 2-day delivery range from our warehouse. Ground Service is generally available in the following area: Anywhere east of the Mississippi River, except LA, southern MS, WI and the MI upper peninsula. 2-day Ground shipping is available also in eastern AR, eastern MO and the Milwaukee, WI area.
We ship to any address within the 48 Continental United States where FedEx delivery is available, and to many destinations in Alaska and Hawaii.
We cannot ship to P.O. Box addresses.
We do not ship to Canada or to other international destinations.
When we ship
Weather and Federal/Jewish holidays may change delivery availability. All orders are subject to availability of product.
We ship for delivery on Tuesday through Thursday, and on Friday if you select the "Friday delivery is OK" checkout option.
For Overnight Service and next-day Ground Service (only to the NYC-DC corridor), we send out orders on Monday through Wednesday, and Thursday if you allow Friday delivery. For 2-Day Service or 2-day Ground Service, we send out orders on Monday and Tuesday, and Wednesday if you allow Friday delivery.
When your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email. This email will include your FedEx tracking number so that you can watch its progress to your door and plan for its arrival. Orders placed outside of our shipping days or on holidays will be shipped on the following shipping day.
Orders placed before noon (Eastern) on a shipping day will be sent out that same day. Orders placed after noon (Eastern) will be shipped out the following shipping day. Please keep in mind that this can mean a shipping delay of several days and plan accordingly. For example, if a 2-Day shipping (Ground or Express) order is placed after 12 noon EST on a Wednesday, it will not ship until the following Monday.
Please note: We do not guarantee ship dates nor can we be held liable for a delay in shipping an order. (FedEx will refund the shipping cost at its discretion if Express orders are delayed beyond their commit date. Delays beyond the typical commit time, but on the same day, are not eligible for refunds.) Factors that may delay the shipping of an order include, but are not limited to, weather, Federal or state holidays, religious holidays, a shortage of product or an unusually high volume of orders.
If you do not receive your order, or do not hear from us about your order within a week, please contact us so we may resolve the issue.
Special shipping requests: If you have any special requests for FedEx or for our shipping department, you must make a note in the comments box during checkout. Additionally, we recommend that you email us with any requests for our shipping department to confirm that it is on our radar. We will do our best to meet all of your requests, however, this is not always possible. Additionally, keep in mind that FedEx is an independent company that is out of our control.
How we ship
Our products are perishable and frozen, and require special handling. All orders are shipped in insulated containers, with dry ice to keep your KOL Foods meat at a safe temperature.
All orders are shipped signature release: We require that all our orders are shipped signature release, so no signature is required. If no one is home to receive the order from our carrier, the driver will leave the order at your door. This signifies acceptance of the order the same as a signature. Although we ship our orders to remain frozen until 8 hours after the expected delivery time, we recommend that someone be there within the designated time frame to accept the order and properly refrigerate/freeze it.
If you live in a multi-unit building and wish to require a signature, please indicate this in the comments field during checkout. Please keep in mind that if you are not there to sign for the package, FedEx will not leave the package.
If your order is a gift, please be sure to alert the recipient that something perishable will be delivered via FedEx. Large Orders of over 100 lbs:

Order Cancellation & Refunds: Orders can be cancelled if they have not been shipped out of our facility. Once an order leaves our facility, we cannot call it back. If you wish to cancel, it is best to call and email for confirmation. Cancellations may be subject to a $25 restocking fee. Unfortunately we cannot accept returns as we cannot resell products after they have left our facility. Please see here for our full Refunds policy.
Shipping Rates, Surcharge and Insurance: To calculate your shipping rates, please populate your shopping cart with the items you would like to purchase. Then go to your shopping cart and click on "Calculate Shipping" (large purple button on the upper left).
"Shipping Cost" is what FedEx charges us to ship your items. We negotiate hard to get you the best rates, and we do not mark up the shipping cost.
Shipping Surcharge covers the cost of the insulated box, dry ice and other packing materials. This surcharge is applied only to orders containing less than 15 lbs of KOL Foods products.
The shipping surcharge is applied as follows:
0-4.99 lbs: $12;
5-9.99 lbs: $8;
10-14.99 lbs: $4;
> 15 lbs: NO surcharge.
We do not insure all shipments. FedEx Ground shipments are insured only for damage (spoilage not included); 2-Day and Overnight Express service are fully insured.
