Bourbon BBQ Pepper Steak

Bourbon BBQ

  • 1 – 1.5 lbs KOL Foods Pepper Steak, sliced, uncooked
  • 12oz organic tomato paste
  • 10oz white vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 8oz of pure maple syrup
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 Tbs. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1 tsp. arrowroot
  • 1.5 oz bourbon

Optional:

  • Smoked chipotle peppers
  • KOL Foods Andouille sausage
  • KOL Foods smoked beef bacon

Whisk all of the ingredients together in a pot. If you want some spicy heat, add a bit of smoked chipotle peppers, sausage, or beef bacon.Let the steak simmer in the sauce on low heat for about fifteen minutes.
