Thai London Broil
"London broil is an easy to cook cut of meat that sits well for the next day served at room temperature if desired. This marinade gives the meat a nice Asian/Thai flavoring that I really enjoyed with a lightly dressed salad, but it can go with any meal. The marinade is pretty light and low calorie and using Grass Fed meat from KOL Foods ensures my meat is the healthiest it can be." - Tamar Genger MA, RD, on the Jamie Geller blog
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. AT Kol Foods London Broil
- 1/4 cup lime juice from 2 limes
- 1 tablespoon gluten free soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon minced lemon grass
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped chili pepper
Score the meat with a knife and place in a ziploc bag with the rest of the ingredients. Let marinate at least 2 hours or overnight.
Preheat broiler or grill. Broil steak about 10 minutes/side based on how thick your piece is and how rare you like it, adding more marinade when turning.
Remove from heat and let sit about 10 minutes before slicing thin.
