Braised Turkey Thighs with Onions & Red Wine

Ingredients

  • 4 KOL Foods turkey thighs

  • 2 large onions, sliced

  • 3 carrots, chopped

  • 4 cloves garlic

  • 2 tbsp tomato paste

  • 2 cups dry kosher red wine

  • 2 cups KOL Foods poultry broth

  • 2 sprigs rosemary

  • 2 sprigs thyme

  • Salt + pepper

  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Sear thighs skin-side down in Dutch oven until browned.

  2. Remove, sauté onions + carrots.

  3. Add garlic + tomato paste (cook 1 minute).

  4. Deglaze with wine.

  5. Add broth + herbs. Return turkey.

  6. Cover and braise at 325°F for 1.5–2 hours.

Meat should be nearly falling off bone.
